    What a warm welcome we received at the Midlands Hotel compared to The Stables Restaurant up the road where we were told very brusquely that there 8 people ahead of us and we would just have to have what was left over if were prepared to wait.

    We enjoyed a frittata and a quiche and a table in front of the wood heater and very pleasant staff attended to us. We will be sure to call in again.

    Doesnt look much from the outside. Inside is modern tastefully appointed. Good pub menu good price and friendly fast service. Will go back worth a visit.
